Llwyndu is situated on the Snowdonia coastline roughly where North Wales becomes Mid Wales. You can get here by road, bus and there is a train station in Barmouth but the line extends northwards so you can actually get off at Llanaber Halt which is a ten minute walk from us but there is a bit of a hill if you feel like a challenge!
Of course you can come by whatever means you wish and others have as you can see below. WE even had a visitor drop in off the mountain by paraglider. |

Directions to Llwyndu...
Wales is surprisingly accessible from England - just over 4 hours from London, 3 hours from the Midlands, 2 and a bit hours from Manchester and just over three hours from Cardiff if you've come over the Severn bridge Once you get to Barmouth continue through the town and head northwards on the A496 towards Harlech. Some two miles north of the town you pass out of the street lighting and the 40mph zone. Our entrance is about 300 yards further on your right. There is a sign on the roadside and you take the lane all the way to the top of the hill - 150 yards or so. Have a pleasant journey and we will put the kettle on when you arrive. People using SATNAVs may experience difficulties locating us due to the large area covered by one postcode so we have included all directions via this technology below. SH 60021 18542 X - 260021 Y - 318542 Lat. 52.746324 Long. -4.0751714 |
